Hey guys it's Raveen
I just want to remind everyone that we have a test this Monday (DECEMBER 6) on algebra. This is going to be part two of our previous algebra test so DON'T FORGET TO STUDY!!! If we did bad on the last test this one will probably help us bring our marks up. So please take some time this weekend to study the short review Mr.P gave us on Thursday.
speaking of the review........... does anyone know how to do question 3 -b on the
Algebra review?
I don't understand it because it has two different things in it
the question is:
3cosΘsinΘ + 2sinΘ = 0 [180°,360°]
If anyone knows how to do this question can you please post on how to do it
Thank you and good luck everybody!, see you on Monday
3cosθsinθ+2sinθ=0
ReplyDeletesinθ(3cosθ+2)=0
sinθ=0
θ=0°
sin+=Quad1 & Quad2
Quad1=0°
Quad2=180°
3cosθ+2=0
3cosθ=-2
cosθ=2/3
θ=cos−1(2/3)
θ=48.189°
cos-in Quad2& Quad3
Quad2
θ=131.81°
Quad3
θ=228.19°
because the interval is between 180° and 360°
θ=180° & 228.19°
