Graph of Quadratic Functions

Hello there everyone,

It's me Luke, Today at Pre-Cal class, Mr. Piatek hand out a check list for us to keep on track. He also told us about that desktop background picture, which he took from Utah, those rocks we're formed due to erosions and it was pretty close to where Grand Canyon is. He told us about what happened about his eye, and the doctor told him that had to take 8 pills at once! whoa. We started off with a recap from yesterday's topic, which is Vertex, Gardener Problem Parabola. He taught us today about the vertex form or standard form of quadratic functions "y = a(x-h)2 + k", we are going to need this for Gr.12. Then he explained us about "h", for whenever h is negative it goes to the right, if h is positive it goes to the left, I find it interesting how its inverted. After that we did some function example, graphing and also identying shape of the function, then we had homework, Exercise 1 Question 1-5,7-8, 13-14. Well that's all for today (:
